Modern Vintage Weddings.

Modern Vintage Weddings is a wedding photography business based in London. It features a documentary style that tells a story with every image. We were approached with a unique situation where although the site had hundreds of authoritative links from over a decade of networking, it wasn’t ranking or converting any new clients. After an extensive audit, and discussion with the client, it became apparent that this was a combination of DIY web design creation and limited SEO knowledge. Although though all the ranking signals were there, it hadn’t been optimised for search engines, keywords, queries or relevant entities. The customer admitted to a few brave risks that didn’t pay off, and unfortunately the result was a website that should be performing, but wasn’t.

We rebuilt the site in a custom theme, with a clear URL structure, optimised meta data, targeted image alt text and broken link repair. We also built an SEO article template for the client, and optimised the existing content whilst presenting it in his clean, minimalist preferred style. Within the first month the client has seen a 400% increase in leads, with a variety of clients saying they found him through Google, but chose to contact him because of his photography.

Ultimately, all the parts were in place, they just had to be organised, optimised and presented in the right way to start bringing in customers. His leads continue to grow to this day, and using the SEO article template, he produces content that targets search terms and information his users are looking for, driving more traffic.
